[23:29]<awnsjdn-jq000>arkanoid, thats why I went to nvidia - but it sure was hell on wheels in windows for gaming. It handled everything I could throw at it with everything cranked all the way up
[23:30]<fjwc1d>A really dumb question on fsck. The system im working on has no periferi with the exception of the network cable I have plugged in to it. Can I set fsck to run at reboot? ( since checking a mounted filesystem can thrash it. )

[23:32]<_aws_>Arky, well apparently 8.25.18 supports your card (what ati says anyhow).. so if you can install that for 6.8.2 you should be good. it also says it supports xorg 7 so maybe it's worth upgrading anyhow

[23:39]<crr1>I noticed that when I use optimisations "pentium-m and O3" to install gentoo on my Dell C400 Laptop it screws up. However, my laptop is a pentium-3-m. I managed to get gentoo working using the "-march=pentium3 -O2". Would anyone know some 'perfect' flags to use on the C400?
