[00:41]<zdrgrrrr>I made a html table... is there a way to make it display ascii? kindof like the one above this: http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/tables.html#h-11.2.1 .... I've tried viewing with lynx, links, links2, w3m and I haven't been able to obtain such a table... all I get is 2 spaces between the collums..
[00:42]<xrllmmumn>where's your table?
[00:45]<zdrgrrrr> /home/ryan/table.html.... a copy of it on my blog... just a second... I'll post the code...
[00:52]<zdrgrrrr>happydude: http://rkavanagh.homelinux.org
[00:54]<xrllmmumn>you messed up the ampersand
[00:55]<xrllmmumn>it needs to be î not &#238;
[00:56]<zdrgrrrr>???
[00:56]<zdrgrrrr>It displays as <td>Dîner</td> here...
[00:56]<xrllmmumn>do you want it to display that or the actual ascii symbol?
[00:56]<zdrgrrrr>display acutal ascii symbol...
[00:57]<znysyj>that's just sick
[00:57]<znysyj>I'm disgusted
[00:57]<xrllmmumn>then change what i just told you
[00:57]<zdrgrrrr>I set it up so it displays ascii code... in that post...
[00:57]<zdrgrrrr>*pets the <code> </code> plugin"
[00:57]<xrllmmumn>where's the actual page then?
[00:57]<zdrgrrrr>happydude: in the post it's supposed to do that..
[00:58]<xrllmmumn>ryanakca: show me the exact page where it's not working
[00:58]<zdrgrrrr>http://rkavanagh.homelinux.org/table.html
[00:58]<xrllmmumn>and what's wrong with that?
[01:00]<zdrgrrrr>I only have space between the collumns... no line, no border, no nothin
[01:02]<xrllmmumn>so you're problem isn't with ascii codes, it's the fact that you don't know html?
[01:02]<zdrgrrrr>nevermind... I never put "border=%pixels;"
[01:02]<zdrgrrrr>yeah... basicly :P
[01:02]<zdrgrrrr>lol

[05:01]<zjjsvysxrw>no, i mean on my site
[05:01]<zjjsvysxrw>where users can post comments
[05:01]<wjjsvr>There's a pile ..
[05:01]<wjjsvr>how much 'commenting' do you want?
[05:02]<wjjsvr>http://www.shoutmix.com/
[05:02]<zjjsvysxrw>what do you mean how much?
[05:03]<wjjsvr>Like that one allows for a short one-line comment
[05:03]<wjjsvr>Or do you want a full discussion board?
[05:03]<zjjsvysxrw>just a short comment, no a board
[05:03]<zjjsvysxrw>like at the end of an article
[05:04]<wjjsvr>Ahh .. so on every page ..
[05:04]<wjjsvr>And unique to that page
[05:04]<wjjsvr>Use something like GeekLog
[05:04]<zjjsvysxrw>no... it will just be on the home page
[05:05]<wjjsvr>Then try the one above
[05:05]<wjjsvr>Works on a friends page
[05:06]<zjjsvysxrw>could you pm me his/her page?
[05:08]<wjjsvr>I'm sure the above link would show examples
