[18:34]<snnfn_>please help... this is my firewall rules http://pastebin.com/770002, and this are my interfaces http://pastebin.com/770006, I need to make ping from outside of my network to a public Ip inside my network like (208.35.102.13) but I can't make it .... any suggest?
[18:34]<drwygn>i already had it that way, seele_.
[18:34]<zyacbl>the client is expecting the tcp packet to be sent from the same IP that it sent it to
[18:35]<snnfn_>maxine, ???
[18:35]<drwygn>seele_: bugger all, i dunno
[18:35]<zyacbl>flupke, i appreciate your help, let me put it this way
[18:36]<zyacbl>we have server A, B, C. A sends B a request which is redirected to C
[18:36]<lfulcn>rickBL: I have a 'iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth1 -j MASQUERADE' in my setup too, I think this does rewrite the responder IP with the router IP
[18:36]<zyacbl>if C replies to A, A disregards it because it doesn't know anything about C
[18:38]<lfulcn>rickBL: -o eth1 would become -s XX, but I'm not sure about that
[18:50]<lfulcn>rickBL: reading the man page, your SNAT POSTROUTING setup seems to be the way to go if B has a static IP XX, prefered to MASQUERADE. but should'nt you do a -s Z instead of -d Z ?
[19:14]<ljjcnd>hey all. the 'unclean' mmodule, does it have a homepage? doe anyone know what kernel option it requires?
[19:21]<tdbnzr>Dont think its used anymore.
[19:37]<ljjcnd>oh.. do you know why TmBerg ?
[19:50]<tdbnzr>Dont remember. obsolet ( spelling? ) or something.

[23:47]<gdvzo>I have two ethernet cards how would i forward all the ports comming from one network to the other using this pc.
[23:47]<gdvzo>i hope im clear im not good at iptables.
[23:48]<gdvzo>basically the computer just forwards all data to and fro between two networks
