[05:30]<d2ysxjl>Anyone here use sbcl on netbsd?
[05:48]<vvuvvfn>NetBSD rocks. The startup messages are in green, and it boots *under VMware* in ~20 seconds!
[05:49]<d2ysxjl>heh
[05:49]<vvuvvfn>mbishop: It's shiny.
[05:51]<vvuvvfn>mbishop: I don't have /home.
[06:43]<cprprpumr>hey all
[06:46]<czdj>20 seconds? that's slow
[06:46]<czdj>oh vmware... right.
[06:56]<myvn-j>Cryo: I've got a NetBSD machine that takes well over 20 seconds to boot, but it's also a fileserver that has to handle samba/ftp/nfs, manage a UPS, etc
[06:57]<myvn-j>though the main delay is in the BIOS for all the different disk controllers in it
[06:59]<czdj>yeh, bios will bone you.. also scsi delay
[07:00]<myvn-j>no scsi in the fileserver, but there's the onboard ide, onboard sata, pci ide, pci sata, ANOTHER pci sata...
[07:16]<zznmnzn>could someone help me with sendmail
[08:33]<sazyfvdnvyf>i installed netbsd but it doesnt seem to have ports.. how r the packages installed?
